Co-creative workshop, IRL at Octopus Cooperative (Paris) and online in Manyland

ENG In October 22, we had the great honour to be invited by the brand new Octopus Cooperative, a cooperative for art and creative workers. We organised a workshop there, both IRL in Octopus’s space and online inside our beloved Manyland. With all the participants, we tried to recreate the forgotten world of a non-binary dragon, Ketchup-Mayo, immersed in a deep sleep until his memories return. With the help of the crypted visions of an oracle provoked by a game of jacks thrown IRL by those at Octopus’s site, we’ve drawn together in Manyland what the world of Ketchup-Mayo might have been like, hoping it would help him to break his heavy sleep and allow him to come back to our reality.

The drawings and the stories built and discovered by the participants are gathered in a deck of playing card retracing our journey through Ketchup-Mayo’s memories.

FR En octobre 22, nous avons eu le grand honneur d’être invité.es dans la toute nouvelle Octopus Coopérative, une coopérative de travailleur.ses de l’art et de la création. Nous avons organisé un workshop à la fois IRL chez Octopus mais aussi en ligne dans notre bien-aimé Manyland. Avec toustes les participant.es, nous avons essyé de recréer le monde oublié d’un dragon non-binaire, Ketchup-Mayo, plongé dans un profond sommeil tant que ses souvenirs ont disparu. Avec l’aide des visions cryptiques d’un oracle, provoquées par des lancers d’osselets maison par les participant.es qui se trouvaient chez Octopus, nous avons dessinés tous ensemble dans Manyland ce que le monde de Ketchup-Mayo avait pu être, en espérant l’aider à briser son lourd sommeil et lui permettre de revenir à notre réalité.

Les dessins et les histoires construits ou découverts par les participant.es sont réunis dans un jeu de cartes qui retrace notre voyage à travers les souvenirs de Ketchup-Mayo.
